Item Code:AJB004

In the early 19th Century it was usual to make the pictures up out of hundreds of tiny coloured glass pieces and tiles (Tessarae) and mount them into jewellery.

Exceptionally fine quality micro mosaic, depicting a what appears to be two lovers in pastoral scene set as a brooch in high carat Gold.

This early brooch is in excellant condition and has the comforting warm colour of Rose Gold on the reverse.

Fastening with a pin and wide 'c' shaped clasp.

If you are fond of the best in micro mosaic jewellery, this lovely Mosiac will look stunning worn on a sweater or lapel!

It is truly a rarity among micro mosaic jewellery, and is certain to get compliments galore!

Time to shine with class.
