A beautiful unique and a rare find, this fabulous Edwardian Ruby and Diamond ring dates to the year 1901!

Featuring a 0.20 carat apple red round cut Ruby set within a halo of eight old mine cut sparkling Diamonds, weighing 0.50 carats.

Old cut diamonds are not cut with the same precision as modern stones giving them real individuality and personality.

This made every old mine cut Diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

This wonderful ring has a 'D' shaped shank and plain shoulders leading to the fabulous gem prong set gallery.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch. 

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear. 

Displaying a full clear Chester hallmark dating the ring to 1901.

Steeped in English history and in excellent condition.

This piece makes the perfect engagement ring for the woman who desires something a little different or buy as an exquisite dress ring.

Ruby is the birthstone of July.  It is also a traditional gift for those celebrating 15th or 40th anniversaries.
