Description

A fabulous very unique vintage 1920's sparkling Diamond three stone cross over ring with Diamond shoulders.

Featuring three rare old mine hand cut Diamonds. The center white Diamond weighs 0.50 carats and is flanked by two very rare cognac Diamonds each weighing 0.35 carats.

The mouth watering cognac Diamonds are sometimes referred to as “fancy brown” Diamonds.

These rare Diamonds compliment each other beautifully.

An old mine cut Diamond evokes the past, when Diamonds were measured by eye and cut by hand, so this historic Diamond cut is a great choice if you’re looking for an engagement ring with antique or vintage qualities.

Early Diamond cutters (today known as bruters) shaped old mine cut Diamonds by following the octahedral shape of the Diamond crystal, laboriously grinding two Diamonds together to achieve the desired shape, and a Diamond polisher then polished the facets.

Good cut reflects most of the light that enters it for a quality sparkle.

The Diamonds are secured in a classic prong setting leading to a split six Diamond set shoulders.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.

The condition of this delightful 1920's antique ring is excellent for its considerable age.
