Description

A wonderful Diamond and Sapphire Gypsy ring, complete with a full Chester hallmark, dating to Circa 1835.

Set with three old mined rose hand cut sparkling Diamonds interspaced by four royal blue round cut Sapphires.

An old mine rose cut Diamond evokes the past, when Diamonds were measured by eye and cut by hand.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the Diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut Diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

A rose cut Diamond resembles the shape of a rose bud. The rose cut Diamonds dates to the 1500's and remained popular during the Georgian and Victorian eras.

The simple setting enhances a Diamond’s natural beauty and brilliance, without distraction.
