Description

This oval Black Opal is stunning and originates from the very famous Lightening Ridge, Australia.

Taking center stage is a fabulous 1.34 carat oval cut black Opal that reflects different colours in different lights, that is what makes them so lovely to enjoy and wear.

The play of colour showing primarily green and blue with flashes of indigo.

A Black Opal is a unique and beautiful precious gemstone.

Australia became an important source of precious Opal in the late 1800's. Numerous discoveries in the early 1900's gave the country firm leadership of the world's Opal production that was not challenged for over a century.

The Australian Opal is flanked by two old mine cut sparkling Diamonds, each weighing 0.35 carats, a total of 0.70 carats.

Quality: G Colour Clarity: VS1

Due to the shape of the rough and because the Diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut Diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

These precious gemstones dates Circa 1900's and are set in a newer gallery.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.
