A gorgeous flower ring glistening with eight high colour old cut Diamonds embracing a radiant rich Ruby.

Taking center stage is a rich cherry red natural round Ruby, weighing 0.75 carats in a rub over setting.

Complimented by eight old mined hand cut Diamonds, weighing one carat.

Quality:  G Colour  Clarity:  VS1.

The Diamonds are fine quality, very clean and sparkly.

Early diamond cutters (today known as bruters) shaped old mine cut Diamonds by following the octahedral shape of the diamond crystal, laboriously grinding two Diamonds together to achieve the desired shape, and a diamond polisher then polished the facets.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the Diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

The vintage gemstones have all been reset into a newer gallery.

Newly handcrafted in England in 18 carat yellow Gold, in classic and enduring Edwardian-style which was typical of the era.

The most amazing and practical low setting with a smooth surface that won't catch.

Ruby is a natural gemstone so colour and cut may vary offering you a piece of jewellery that's truly unique.
