A stunning 18ct Gold ring that was made circa 1910. It has been claw set with three natural deep cherry red Burmese Rubies with a combined weight of 0.50 carats.

A Burmese Ruby is a precious gemstone known for its deep, vivid red colour and exceptional quality. These rubies are primarily sourced from Myanmar (formerly Burma), particularly the Mogok Valley (hence the name "Mogok ruby"), often dubbed the "Land of Rubies."

The Rubies are flanked by three old mine hand cut sparkling Diamonds with a combined weight of 0.50 carats.

Dating from the mid 1800's through the 1900's, old mine hand cut Diamonds are most often found in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian jewellery.

Primarily hand cut with the aid of early machines, they are a favourite stone for those who love stones with deeply individual character, as each stone is hand cut and uniquely beautiful.

The shank is called a “Carved half hoop” because of the fine scrollwork decoration on the sides. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear on a daily basis.
