Description
Wonderful original Arts and Crafts black Opal Silver and Gold earrings.
Graceful in design and very typical of the period.
The Black Opal which is a rare stone has a wonderful depth of colour with flashes of red, blue and green.
These are not black Opal doublet they are solid Black Opals from Australia probably from Lighting Ridge.
The colour of the opals have not been enhanced in any way.
Each Opal weighs 3.78 carats with an impressive total of 7.56 carats.
The Opals are collet set and is showcased within a floral design with two 9 carat yellow Gold florets leading to 9 carat Gold shephard hook findings which are beautifully set with white Opals in a classic secure four prong setting.
These earrings is sure to become a treasured family heirloom and would make a stunning treat, or special gift for a loved one!
