Description

The Blue Morpho butterfly’s wings are bright blue, edged with black. The blue morpho is among the largest butterflies in the world, with wings spanning from five to eight inches.

Their vivid, iridescent blue coloring is a result of the microscopic scales on the backs of their wings, which reflect light.

They are neotropical butterflies found mostly in South America, Mexico, and Central America.

It is hard to believe that the iridescent quality of this real butterfly wing necklace can actually be found in nature.

It is amazing how the blues shift and shimmer as the light plays across its surface.

This mesmerizing pendant makes for a rather proud statement.

An eye catching necklace which is sure to be noticed is truly breath taking.

Handcrafted in solid Stirling Silver, along with the makers mark, the butterfly wing is collet set beautifully within a detailed frame and is suspended by an equisite Silver Flower, simply lovely.

In excellant condition,  an original antique gem to treasure and call your own.

We are happy to provide a detailed appraisal indicating a replacement value for insurance purposes on request for your item on completion of the sale.
