Description
Rare Sterling Silver Scottish Lace Agate Citrine Amethyst Heart Thistle Brooch
A very fine quality Scottish brooch in the form of a heart with thistle design, set with faceted Citrine and Amethyst stones and the border containing fine polished Lace Agate stones.
The brooch is fixed at the back via a strong hinged pin and also features the addition of a safety chain. The entire piece is made from sterling silver with a full Birmingham hallmark that dates the brooch to around 1904 or 1905. The makers mark is also stamped.
This item is in excellant condition for its age and type.
