Description

One hundred plus years ago people didn�t have access to plastic packaging or even easy access to mass produced glass. This meant that if you were buying beauty cream, perfume or a pot of rouge, you needed something to house it in, and more often than not, this something was beautiful and eminently re-useable. Such is the case with this beautiful scent flask.

This fabulous fine antique Victorian sterling silver scent flask has a circular, moon flask form.

The surface of the flask is embellished with fine embossed scrolling leaf ornamentation accented with floral motifs and geometric trellis designs.

This impressive example of antique silverware is fitted with a silver long box chain, conjoining with a ring loop terminal.

The scent flask retains the original plain perfume stopper.

This is a rare find and is simply a delightful scent flask which you just have to hold and touch and move around in your hands to really know what a Fabulous piece this is.
