A gorgeous Art Deco inspired Opal and Diamond pendant, which oozes 1920's charm!

For something very unique and special this pendant really ticks all the right boxes.

Suspended from the elaborate Art Deco Diamond plaque are three teardrop collet set free moving Australian Opals.

These very pretty natural Australian Opal contains all colours of the rainbow and an exquisite play of colour. Blue with green yellow, orange and purple and highlighted by flashes of red.

Of course, opals are notoriously difficult to photograph, so imagine how much more fire you can see in hand!

These Australian Opals originate from Cooper Pedy, a town in northern South Australia.

The town is sometimes referred to as the "Opal capital of the world" because of the quantity of precious opals that are mined there.

Opal was found in Cooper Pedy on 1 February 1915, since then the town has been supplying most of the world's gem-quality Opal.

There are a total of fourteen modern brilliant cut sparkling Diamonds set within a pierced out geometric pattern using clear-cut, bold shapes which characterises the pendant, the design of which was very typical of the 1920s and 1930s.

There are an approximate half a carat of high premium bright white sparkling modern brilliant cut Diamonds.

The pendant is suspended by a box linked 18 inch 9 carat white Gold chain.
