Description

Here is a timeless silver Georgian brooch which reflects a true to life model of a gecko lizard.

This wonderful reptile displays the cool colours of red and white will be sure to be noticed!

There are four round candy floss red Rubies inter-spaced by three rose cut sparkling Diamonds that ripples down the length of his back.

Rose cut Diamonds dates all the way back to the early 1500s.

The stones resemble the petals of a rose by trying to imitate the narrowing spiral of the petals, hence the name rose cut Diamond.

The precious gemstones are all beautifully handcrafted in Silver.

Please note the realism inherent in his hands and feet. Oh, just two words of caution, that tail.

It is believed that the gecko represents self protection and re-growth that humans also go through.

The Egyptians and the Greeks considered lizards as symbolic of good fortune and intelligence.
