Description

An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones of the Amethyst and sparkle of the Diamonds draws you to the Edwardian charm of this fabulous ring.

Each Amethyst measures 5mm x 7mm and are accentuated by seventeen old hand cut sparkling Diamonds, weighing a total of one carat.

Quality: G Colour, Clarity: VS1.

Good cut reflects most of the light that enters it for a quality sparkle.

Finely handcrafted in 18 carat Gold with trumpet detailing to the shoulders leading to a plain band shank.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.

To the reverse the Amethysts and Diamonds are set in open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through for that extra sparkle.

The ring dates to 1916 and is in excellent condition.

Amethyst is from the Greek word meaning 'Not Drunken'. According to mythology it inspires fairness and a sense of duty.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February.

A wonderful Edwardian treasure that looks fabulous when worn.
