Ceylon Sapphires are part of the Corundum gem family and are second only to Diamonds in hardness. This strength makes them an excellent choice of jewellery because of their durability. 

Simply a beautiful sparkling and straight forward Circa 1950's  trilogy  ring, crafted in platinum, starring a trio of gorgeous gemstones.

The beautiful large Oval 2 carat Ceylon Sapphire claw set to the centre is a  lovely deep Rich Royal Blue in colour displaying a natural silk within the stone which is a Hallmark of the Genuine article.  The 2 carat Oval Ceylon Sapphire is closely guarded on each side by beautiful, bright and sparkling Old Cut Diamonds each weighing half a carat, one carat in total.

Each shoulder is set with three shimmering and glistening Old Cut Diamonds with a decorative mille grain outer edge leading to a plain band shank. 

To the reverse the Ceylon Sapphire and Diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows light to shine  through for sparkle.

Trilogy means past, present & future or those 3 little words "I love you."
