Description

This is a beautiful antique silver brooch with a secret locket compartment at the back. It dates Circa: 1880/90.

The centre is raised and features a deep rich apple red round 0.20 carat Ruby flanked either side are two Pearls set within a floral burst design which was typical of the era.

The brooch has a beautiful embossed surround with a high carat Gold overlay and a fine beaded finish around the edge.

It is complete with its original pin, c-clasp and safety chain.

It is not uncommon for Victorian jewellery to be without a hallmark.

In fantastic condition a lovely Heirloom quality antique Victorian brooch a truly sweet delight.
