Description

The spectacular green and blue/black play of colour in this Black Opal is perfectly displayed within a border of 20 high premium bright white brilliant cut Diamonds creating a dramatic and eye-catching cocktail ring.

The Diamonds weigh 0.40 carats.

Quality: H Colour Clarity: VS1

The black Opal is supported by white claws and raised very slightly higher than the scalloped-edge sparkling Diamond frame.

Tapering knife-edge shoulders lead to a a D shaped sectioned band finely handcrafted in 18 carat Gold.

The most valued of all opals is the Black Opal, of which Lightning Ridge is 'home' and their inherent value comes from their rarity.

Black Opal is distinguished from other opals by their dark background (Body Tone) and this characteristic enables the brightness of colour of which they are known.
