Description

This fabulous snake ring is from the Victorian, Circa 1800s, era and is simply marvelous.

Coiling around ones finger, the snake's body is finely handcrafted in luxurious 18 carat Gold and represents the mounting as well as the band of the ring.

The head of the snake is decorated with a single Opal which is oval in shape.

The Opal displays sheer intensity which vibrates with colours of neon green, clouds of lavender, and waves of electric blue all playing tag with an area of hot orange red throughout the stone.

The eyes are set with two old mine hand cut sparkling Diamonds.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.

The snake ring is given as a symbolic gesture of good fortune, good health, and as a loving gift to a partner where the ring is a protective charm and represents the union of the couple and their eternal and never ending love for one another.

In excellent condition, steeped in English history.

Looks fabulous when worn and will not disappoint in any way.
