This elegant Edwardian era 9 carat Gold necklace features two round Almandine garnets.

The rich port red Almandine garnets are collet set within a Fleur-de-leys designed window which was typical of the era.

Garnet has that beautiful glassy glow which makes it one of the most beautiful stones that you will ever see.

The name is derived from ‘granatus’, the Latin word for seed or grain because of the stone’s resemblance to the small round seeds of a pomegranate.
