A wonderful sterling Silver locket from the Victorian, Circa 1880 era! This decorative piece is beautifully etched with a floral motif and hummingbird.

“Life is to be savored” is the meaning attached to hummingbirds

A fine beadwork border surrounds the raised front surface, a wonderful finishing touch!

To the reverse is a place to store your loved one's special photographs complete with a removable frame.

The locket hangs from a smooth sterling bail at the top, and would looks perfect paired with a 24 inch Silver belcher chain.
