This exceptional, original oval Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond three-stone ring, dating from the late-19th century, showcases a vibrant light-medium blue sapphire weighing 2.00 carats displaying distinct violet overtones.

The enchanting oval Ceylon Sapphire (native to Sri Lanka) is safely nestled in numerous coronet settings and is accompanied on each side by a sparkling and sizable brilliant cut Diamond, each Diamond weighing approximately 1/4 carat claw set on each side. The beautiful white sparkling Diamonds are around H colour.   The 18 carat yellow Gold mounting exemplifies classic Victorian nostalgia. 

To the reverse the oval Ceylon Sapphire and Diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows light to shine  through for that extra sparkle.
