Description

Black crystal Opals reflect different colours in different lights, that is what makes them so lovely to enjoy and wear.

Taking center stage is a stunning and unique 2 carat Australian black crystal Opal displays an ever changing kaleidoscope of lights.

The play of colour showing primarily green and blue with flashes of indigo.

A Black Crystal Opal is a unique and beautiful variation of a Black Opal. Black Crystal Opal is scarce and so unique.

The base of the Opal is black, but it is translucent.

Finely handcrafted in luxurious 18 carat yellow Gold with with fabulous shoulder detailing, a split floral design set with eight old mine hand cut bright white sparkling Diamonds.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the Diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut Diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

Opals are more delicate stones and so need some degree of care, this ring would still be quite practical and durable.

These precious gemstones dates Circa 1900s and are set in a newer gallery, replicating an original Edwardian design.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.
