A pretty Edwardian ring with Burmese Rubies and old mine Diamonds will not disappoint in any way.

Boosting two round Rubies, which originate from Burma, are well matched and a good deep rich red colour and weigh half a carat.

Burmese Rubies are the best Rubies in the world and the most sought after.

These wonderful Rubies are inter-spaced with three round old mine cut sparkling Diamonds, weighing a total of 0.40 carats.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the Diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

To the reverse the Diamonds and Rubies are set in open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through for that extra sparkle.

These wonderful gemstones are all in a secure prong setting, with a floral design work to the gallery which was typical of the era.

Finely handcrafted in 18 carat Gold with trumpet detailing to the shoulders leading to a plain band shank.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.  

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.

The ring dates Circa 1900's. 

In excellent condition with minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use.

Rings of this type are highly collectable and are sought after worldwide.
