Description

A very pretty Diamond 2 stone Vintage twist ring which is both beautiful and extremely wearable.

Boosting two Transitional cut old mine cut sparkling Diamonds, each weighing 0.25 carats each, totaling 0.50 carats.

This beauty dates to the 19th century.

The Diamonds are set in a twist or bypass design so that the Diamonds are set across the finger at an angle.

This style of ring, called toi et moi, or you and me, was popular during the late 19th and early 20th century and is meant to symbolise both people in the couple.

These hand cut old mine Diamonds are full of fire and life.

The simple setting enhances the Diamond natural beauty and brilliance, without distraction.

These vintage Diamonds are set in a classic secure 8 prong Platinum setting.

Leading to an 18 carat yellow Gold shank, finely turned crossover shoulders creating a lovely design feature.

This is a remarkable Diamond ring, with such a beautiful and sought after Transitional cut old mine Diamonds.

The Diamonds are extremely flashy and bright.

The ring has an important look combined with a truly beautiful design.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The ring dates Circa 1920's, steeped in English history.

Transitional Cut Diamonds: One of the cuts with the shortest time period, the transitional cut, is none-the-less a gorgeous cut. Cut from approximately 1918 through the 1920’s and perfected by Henry Morse and his partner Charles Field, the transitional cut diamond is a round, faceted cut.

An evolution of the Old European cut, the transitional cut (sometimes known as the Early American Cut) has a lower crown, more medium table, shorter pavilion and smaller culet than the Old European cut. This a very consistently proportioned and beautiful stone cut.

A unique and captivating ring which looks fabulous when worn.
