Featuring a fabulous 0.30 carat sparkling old mined hand cut Diamond.

The Diamond has immense brilliance and sparkle, shimmering and glistening continuously.

Showcased by a halo of six deep intense red traffic light, a fluorescent red of high intensity, Burmese Rubies, weighing 1.20 carats.

Beautifully set in a Platinum gallery leading to an 18 carat yellow Gold band.  

In a high class jewellers this would retail at £3,500.00.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.  

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.

An old mine cut diamond evokes the past, when Diamonds were measured by eye and cut by hand, so this historic Diamond cut is a great choice if you’re looking for an engagement ring with antique or vintage qualities.

Early diamond cutters (today known as bruters) shaped old mine cut diamonds by following the octahedral shape of the diamond crystal, laboriously grinding two diamonds together to achieve the desired shape, and a diamond polisher then polished the facets.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

Old cut Diamonds are not cut with the same precision as modern stones giving them real individuality and personality.

Burmese Rubies are the best Rubies in the world and the most sought after. Burmese Ruby is the standard by which all other rubies are judged.

These precious vintage gemstones hail form the 1940's and are set into a newer gallery.
