A fine Circa 1890's Victorian 9 carat Gold (hallmark) Tiger Claw Pendant. It's wicked cool and unique, this piece is sure to be a conversation starter!

It's one and a half inches long around outside the curve, and half and inch across at the widest point.

It's weight 2.7 grams.

In India in the late 1800's during the British colonization of India, animal claw jewellery became popular.

It was the Victorian period known as the 'British Raj' period and this style of jewellery was made to appeal to tourists and especially to take home as gift.

This item pre dates the 1947 CITES Regulation, and having been worked, meaning changed from its natural form into a jewel and being Victorian Circa 890 is classified as an antique.

The overall finish of the pendant is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.
