This Edwardian beauty has been set with a stunning natural mid to deepish Royal blue oval cut 2 carat Ceylon Sapphire in a rub over setting.

Ceylon Sapphires are famous for their vibrant medium blue hues. Ceylon Sapphires have also been treasured by Royal families around the world for centuries. Sapphires are considered a symbol of love, loyalty, power, royalty, and wisdom because of their allure and range of blues.

Theis impressive Ceylon Sapphire is set in a halo of 1.25 carat of beautifully matched sparkling old mined hand cut Diamonds within millgrain settings.  This is when the edges of the Gold have been worked with a knurling tool to produce tiny beads, hence the French name “Millgrain” meaning a thousand beads.
