This superb 18ct Gold and Platinum ring from the Art Deco era shows the mastery of gem-cutting and setting that jewellers attained in the early decades of the 20th century. This is a gorgeous handmade creation. Its beauty is its simplicity and elegance.

Taking centre stage is a beautiful 18ct Gold rub over set rich deep green Colombian Emerald showcased in a decadent pierced out halo of sparkling old transitional hand cut sparkling Diamonds in Platinum mile grain setting. These Diamonds have exceptional shimmer and glisten with immense sparkle and brilliance.

This Circa 1920s ring has the most amazing and practical low setting with a smooth surface that won't catch.

Transitional Cut Diamonds: One of the cuts with the shortest time period, the transitional cut, is none-the-less a gorgeous cut. Cut from approximately 1918 through the 1920 s and perfected by Henry Morse and his partner Charles Field, the transitional cut Diamond is a round, faceted cut.

The ring has an elegant look and radiates divine elegance and feminine charisma.

Excellent; very light wear consistent with age and use. There are no major marks or scratches that we feel necessary to mention. All of our jewellery is professionally cleaned prior to shipping.
