Description

This fabulous vintage Edwardian ladies Gypsy ring was crafted in Birmingham England and dates back to 1918 with fabulous clear hallmarks on the band.

Featuring a central 0.10 carat round facet cut natural blue Sapphire with another two 0.05 carat round facet cut Sapphires at the end of the front elliptical panel.

The rich royal blue Sapphires are interspaced by two 0.05 carats of round old mine hand cut high quality sparkling Diamonds with great clarity.

The gemstone panel sits on a Gold section below which has a delightful pierced circle pattern to add character and a wonderful charm to the ring.

The ring itself is very well made and substantial and will last a lifetime.

The ring sits low and gently curves over the finger.

Lovingly handcrafted in solid 18 carat yellow Gold.

The condition of this delightful 1900's antique ring is excellent for it's considerable age.

These rings became popular in late Victorian times when they were given a friendship band as gifts to either young ladies or by lovers and husbands.

These rings are very simple and easily to wear and fit well into our everyday lives.

Sapphire is the birthstone for September so would make an ideal gift for any woman born during that month.

The more you wear it the more you will love this magical Edwardian treasure.
