It is the birthstone of September and its name is derived from the Latin word "Sapphirus" meaning blue.

The sapphire is flanked by two sparkling old mine cut sparkling Diamonds each weighing 0.10 points, all beautifully held in a classic secure prong setting.

The shoulders are ornamented with four sparkling old minded Diamonds for that addded extra sparkle.
