From the first or second decade of the twentieth century, comes this exquisite Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond gypsy ring. 

The ring is beautifully set in 18ct yellow Gold which is in stunning condition, as you will see from the pictures.  The  rich, royal-blue Ceylon half carat round Sapphire,  shares the stage with .40ct of superb old cut Diamonds.   The Old Cut Diamonds sparkle and glisten with immense beauty to make an exceptionally fantastic ring to own and treasure. 

Ceylon Sapphires are part of the Corundum gem family and are second only to Diamonds in hardness. This strength makes them an excellent choice of jewellery because of their durability.
