Description

Fabulous example of an Edwardian ring, one not to miss. Rings of this type are highly collectable and are sought after worldwide.

Boosting three well matched fabulous round cornflower blue natural Ceylon Sapphires.

The three Sapphires are complimented by two sparkling old mine hand cut Diamonds, each weighing 0.65 carats, totaling 1.30 carats, clarity SI1.

Due to the shape of the rough these rare old mine cut hand crafted Diamonds vary in dimensions.

This made every old mine cut Diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

Early Diamond cutters shaped old mine cut diamonds by following the octahedral shape of the diamond crystal, laboriously grinding two Diamonds together to achieve the desired shape, and a Diamond polisher then polished the facets.

This stunning ring gives you the maximum sparkle and shine and has been lovingly handcrafted in luxurious 18 carat yellow Gold.

The Ceylon Sapphires and Diamonds are all claw set. Pierced out extended claw gallery. Plain shoulders lead to a plain band shank.

To the reverse the Sapphires and Diamonds are set into open backed settings this allows the light to shine through for sparkle.

This ring shows very little wear as shown in the pictures and dates Circa: 1900's
