These wonderful Edwardian engraved Gold cufflinks will make a wonderful addition to your look.

A matching pair of double cufflinks, each composed of two oval Gold plaques, finely hand engraved with ivy leaves, fitted to reverse with secure linked chains.

The ivy evergreen leaves represents life and eternity, along with clinging attachment.

These vintage cufflinks articulate via a six link chain to the reverse.

Double ended, they are in excellent condition and an excellent weight that feels good in the hand.

During the 19th century, it would not be uncommon to give a gift of ivy in order to express fidelity, friendship and eternity.

Handcrafted in solid 18 carat Gold during the rule of Edward V11 - 1903 - 1910.

Sold in the original antique box.
