Description

This gorgeous antique ring originates from the 1920's. Boasting three fabulous Burmese Rubies and are complimented by two old cut sparkling Diamonds.

The Rubies weigh 0.40 carats and have a wonderful pigeon blood red colouring, beautiful to look at.

Rubies from Burma are generally regarded as the finest in the world. They are famed for their pure red colour, a colour referred to as pigeon's blood.

In between the Burmese Rubies are matching old cut Diamonds totaling 0.50 carats and compliments the Rubies perfectly.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the Diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut Diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

Beautiful bright Diamonds are full of fire and life.

These precious gemstones are held in a secure classic Platinum prong setting leading to an 18 carat yellow Gold plain band.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful.
