The Etruscan style was popular in the Victorian and Edwardian era.

This Edwardian 9 carat Gold Diamond Etruscan style bangle is a perfect example of how the Edwardian's were influenced by other cultures to create this unique style of jewellery.

We think it looks like a portal into another universe on your wrist with the masterfully created "gypsy settings" for the beautiful old mined hand cut Diamonds. They look like stars bursting out and shining gloriously, sparking delicately against the warm and inviting antique Gold sky!

The Gold embossed detailing and metalwork adds a superb depth and texture to the bangle a real impact of excellent craftsmanship.

Steeped in English history this bangle has a clear Chester Hallmark.  

Items have been manufactured, assayed and sold in Chester since the 15th Century and the mark for Chester is a shield bearing the town's arms, a sword and three sheaves of wheat. Chester was granted an official Assay Office by an Act of Parliament in 1700.   Chester, however in 1962, Chester closed its doors for good.

This closure whittle the number of assay office’s in the UK down to four, it also increased the desirability of pieces previously hallmarked in Chester considerably.

Excellent condition with very little minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
