Description

A splendid Edwardian bracelet composed of thick, deeply hand engraved style links interlocking leading to a charming beuatifully engraved Garnet heart shaped clasp locket with a glass compartment on the reverse.

This endearing and enduring Edwardian treasure is hand crafted in 9 carat yellow Gold, measures 8 inches. Circa 1900's.

The craftmanship is of the highest quality, open and airy detialing stars on every link which was typical of the period.

This stunning Garnet is collet set and has a mesmerising warm deep red glow and measures, width/height: 10mm x 13mm and weighs 27.4 grams.

These bracelets are sometimes referred to as 'Gate Bracelets" because they resemble the locks and chains which secured front gates.

It is simply a Gorgeous piece of Edwardian history which you just have to hold and touch and move around in your hands to really know what a Fabulous piece this is.
