A fabulous Antique Edwardian Cameo Brooch Circa 1900 depicts classically-featured Bacchante right facing maiden in a high carat Gold bezel suspending a beautiful sparkling 0.20 carat Diamond.

The shell for this fine Antique Gold Cameo was well-chosen to be relatively flat with a pronounced but gradual dome which elevates the maidens features.

Nicely carved with good detail and movement and in excellent Antique condition.

It is quite unusual as the maiden is carved in high relief.  The carving is beautiful, she has heavily intricate details masterly executed.

This beautiful pendant would grace anybody's neck and high quality hard stone Cameos are becoming increasing harder to find.  

The cameo is in excellent condition and weighs 6.4grams,  20mm wide and from the base of the  loop to the bottom 35mm.
