Here is a truly absolutely charming antique pendant dating from the early 1900's that looks divine thanks to the combination of enamel, a seed pearl and of course the heart shape itself.

This impressive antique Victorian pendant has been crafted in 9 carat yellow Gold in a heart shaped form.

The pendant displays a central seed pearl held in a rectangular yellow Gold setting.

The anterior face of the pendant is further embellished with red guilloche enamel within a white heart shaped enamel border accented with subtle black dots that really completes this heart design.

It is a common mis-perception that the term guilloch� refers to a type of enameling when the term actually refers to a process.

Guilloch�, phonetically pronounced gee-oh-SHAY, is from the French word meaning "engine turning".

It simply means a technique where the gold is engraved with a design prior to firing in the kiln resulting in the gorgeous wave design that can be seen.

The pendant is fitted with an integrated ring loop attachment.
