Opulently and artfully hand-engraved on both sides with an intricate foliate design.

The front of the locket is beautifully engraved with with Lilly of the Valley.

Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis) is a fragrant flowering plant used in religious ceremonies, world celebrations, perfumes and in gardens.

Also known as the May lily, it means "return to happiness" and most often symbolizes chastity, purity, happiness, luck and humility.

To the reverse is more detailed engraving and a plain sash for a monogram.
