Description

A rare and very classy Rose Gold gents signet ring, slightly oval in shape, with a plain face suitable for engraving.

This striking signet ring will be undoubtedly a very sought-after vintage ring being hallmarked 9 carat gold from Chester 88 years ago.

The ring has a wonderful warm rose glow and is in immaculate condition, looks like it has never been worn.

Signet Rings have become a popular fashion statement due to their imposing presence, and their vintage look. Historically they represented a sign of authority and power, and many were used to make an impression in wax seals to authenticate important documents. This one may not have the ancient history attached, but it does have historical significance as the Chester Assay Office is no longer in existence.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.  

The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.
