A delightful, yellow gold, oval rub over mount boasts a stunning, oval, faceted cut Amethyst with beautiful violet hues which is bordered by 23 elegant seed Pearls.

Hinged back pin fitting holds securely.

Amethyst Symbolism and Spirituality

The gem's purple colours represented purity of spirit. Its purplish and reddish hues represented the chastening and purifying effects of suffering.

Some believed the colours alluded to the wounds and suffering of Christ. Thus, Amethysts were used to aid the healing of wounds.
