Description

Antique jewellery lovers prepare to fall in love with this wonderful Victorian period natural Ruby and Diamond gypsy ring.

The head of the ring is flush set in star-engraved settings with a round cut beautiful deep rich red natural Ruby flanked by two sparkling old-mine-cut Diamonds in a timeless three-stone gypsy ring.

Handmade in solid 18ct yellow Gold which has age beautifully over time, the inside of the band bears a complete set of British hallmarks for 18ct Gold, Birmingham 1864, which add to the ring's authenticity, value and historical charm.

In the Victorian and Edwardian eras, jewellery often conveyed messages of love, remembrance, or mourning. Gypsy rings were no exception. The choice of gemstones and their arrangements carried various connotations - a Ruby for passion, a Sapphire for loyalty, and a Diamond for enduring strength.
Given as a gift, the Ruby is a symbol of friendship and love. The Ruby is also the symbol of vitality and royalty.
