Victorian, Circa 1890 Victorian 15 carat Gold oval mourning locket with ''In Memory Of'' on black enamel to the front, with an upside down tourch wrapped by a gold sash with black enamalling wording: "IN MEMEORY OF" 

Circular loop to the top. The back of the locket has beautiful waves of Gold engraving.  Opens up to reveal blue fabric, behind glazed panels to interior. Hinge and fastening in excellent working order.

The Mourning Locket weighs 3.6 grams and is 20 mm long by 15 mm wide.

This locket has the most wonderful history, steeped in memories if only we could hear its history, however it goes on in life to be treasured.
