Description

This antique Victorian memorial ring was handcrafted in England in 1886. This piece is sure to be a conversation starter!

This Victorian rare beauty has five rectangular panels accented with delicately hand engraved braided hair motif.

The band inset with an intricately woven braid of hair, showing off the spectacular skill and craftsmanship the Victorians dedicated to honoring those who had passed on before them.

It has been fully hallmarked and has a clear full Chester mark, and the date letter ā€œcā€ for 1886.

The overall finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch.

The band is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear.

Please note while this is a ring which could certainly be worn, care should be taken to keep it dry to protect the inlaid woven hair in the band.

Versatile, historical, and everything a woman of discerning taste needs on her finger!

A fantastic example.

Fine, understated collectibles for a true connoisseur.
