Description

A lovely antique natural red Spinel and old mined diamond trilogy ring. This characterful antique ring is subtle in its design with delicate scrollwork on the gallery.

Featuring a round cut natural pinkish red Spinel flanked by two old mined hand cut sparkling Diamonds, Circa 1910.

The Diamonds sparkle and glisten continuously captivating the allure of natures beauty.

Early Diamond cutters (today known as bruters) shaped old mine cut Diamonds by following the octahedral shape of the diamond crystal, laboriously grinding two Diamonds together to achieve the desired shape, and a Diamond polisher then polished the facets.

Due to the shape of the rough and because the diamonds were hand crafted, dimensions varied from stone to stone.

This made every old mine cut diamond unique, or put poetically, have its own personality.

Finely handcrafted in 18 carat Gold with trumpet detailing to the shoulders leading to a plain band shank.

Excellent condition especially for its age with all the original stones and no repairs.

Spinel comes in a variety of colours, but the most commercially important are red and pink.

Birthstone: August (Newly declared in 2016).

Rings of this type are highly collectable and are sought after worldwide.

A unique and captivating ring which looks fabulous when worn.
